Meet the Maker

Scar and Wonder's work is born from forest remnants. Fallen logs and weathered stumps- full of stories etched by nature and human hands. Here, imperfection is not a flaw. It brings us closer to truth, awakening wonder and inviting reflection.

They choose abandoned wood from noble Polish species- cracked oak stumps, a decaying ash root, or a rotting birch- all bearing nature’s marks of wind, water, fire, rot, and time. These marks are never erased- they are celebrated, giving each object its soul.

Meet the Maker

Scar & Wonder is the project of a hypercreative duo working for a quarter of a century at the intersection of art, business, and new technologies. It is an anti-technological, anti-consumerist, and pro-human project.

Aga, trained as an architect, chose never to practice architecture. For the last several years, she has portrayed Polish women- proving that true beauty lives in each of us, and is often far from the idealized standards imposed by advertising.

About Patrick- he was meant to be an architect, but fled to study culture. He has been, at various times, a designer, architect, film maker, artist, innovator, and entrepreneur. In a pact with the devil, he helped the biggest technology brands sell even more products no one really needs.

Together with Aga, they created remarkable interiors, helped save an outstanding temple in Poland (their film The Chapel holds the key), and helped lay the technological foundations of the web of 2000s.

Today- settled on an oak hill, reflecting on the end of capitalism, living far from screens. And lately- making wooden wonders too.
