Shipping & Delivery Policy (Intra-EU Only)

1. Fast & Borderless Delivery

All our products are dispatched from fulfillment centers located within the European Union. Because we ship from within the EU Single Market, our customers benefit from:

  • No Customs Fees: You will never have to pay import duties or customs handling fees.

  • No Hidden Taxes: The price you see at checkout is the final price.

2. Delivery Areas

We ship to all 27 EU Member States. (Note: For shipping to non-EU territories like Norway, Switzerland, or the UK, please refer to our International Shipping section after this section, as different tax rules apply.)

3. Estimated Shipping Times

Shipping times are estimations only. Upon check out, we provide an estimated transit time. This is not guaranteed and purely offers and indication.

  • Processing Time: 2-3 business days.

  • Transit Time: Western/Central Europe: 2-3 business days.

    • Eastern/Northern/Southern Europe: 4–7 business days.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking link via email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

4. Shipping Rates

  • Standard EU Shipping: Variable based on destination. The shipping charge including all taxes is added upon checkout.

  • Free Shipping: Available on all orders over €100 with the exception of Greece, Croatia, Malta, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria.

5. Tax & VAT

In accordance with EU VAT rules, the VAT rate applied to your order is based on the destination country. This tax is already included in the total price at checkout. No additional taxes will be collected by the courier upon delivery.

6. Failed Delivery & Pick-up Points

If you are not home at the time of delivery, the courier may leave your package with a neighbour or at a local pick-up point (Parcel Shop).

  • You will have 7–14 days (depending on the courier) to collect your package before it is returned to our warehouse.

  • Please ensure your shipping address is correct; we cannot redirect packages once they are in transit.

7. Delivery Guarantee

Under EU law, if your order is not delivered within 30 days of the purchase date, you are entitled to a full refund. If your tracking hasn't updated in 10 days, please contact us at support@euporium.eu so we can investigate with the carrier.

International Shipping Policy (UK, Norway & Switzerland)

1. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

When ordering for delivery to the UK, Norway, or Switzerland, your package is considered an import.

  • Import VAT: You will be required to pay local VAT (e.g., 20% in the UK, 25% in Norway, 8.1% in Switzerland) upon the arrival of the goods in your country.

  • Customs Duties: For orders exceeding specific thresholds (e.g., £135 in the UK), additional customs duties may apply.

  • Administrative Fees: Local postal services or couriers (like Royal Mail, Swiss Post, or Bring) often charge a handling fee for processing customs clearance.

Please note: These charges are not included in our shipping costs and must be paid by the recipient to the local authorities or the courier.

2. Delivery Times

While these countries are close to the EU, border checks can occasionally cause delays.

  • Estimated Transit: 5–10 business days.

  • Customs Clearance: Please allow an additional 1–3 days for your local customs office to process the package.

3. Required Information for Smooth Delivery

To ensure your package passes through customs without delay:

  • Phone Number: A valid local telephone number is mandatory so the courier can contact you regarding tax payments.

  • Correct Address: Ensure your address matches local postal standards (e.g., UK Postcodes).

4. Returns from Non-EU Countries

If you wish to return an item from the UK, Norway, or Switzerland:

  • Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the return shipping costs and any associated export paperwork.

  • Customs Marking: You must clearly mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS" on the customs declaration form. Failure to do so may result in the package being held at the EU border and returned to you.

  • Refunds: We will refund the original purchase price once the item is received in the original packaging. Please note that we cannot refund any import VAT or customs duties paid to your local government. As per our refund policy, no made to order or food products are able to be returned unless faulty or damaged.
