Ametlla+ de Mallorca
Ametlla+ de Mallorca is a food brand built around one of the island's most traditional ingredients- the Mallorcan almond. Founded by a team of five women, the project started from a shared conviction that the local almond had far more potential than it was being given credit for, not just as a snack or a component in traditional pastries, but as a driver of innovation in gastronomy, tourism, and health.
The brand's approach is to take something deeply rooted in Mallorcan agricultural tradition and reimagine it for a contemporary market. Products are made by hand using natural methods, with no chemical additives, and the team harvests and selects the almonds each year during the second half of August. The idea is straightforward: from field to plate, using the whole almond.
One of their more distinctive offerings is a Mediterranean Dukkah-a blend of nuts, seeds and spices with origins in Egyptian cuisine, adapted here with local ingredients. It's positioned as a natural alternative to salt and a versatile finishing element for everything from salads and soups to meat and fish. The product range continues to grow, reflecting the founders' stated goal of creating new habits around almond consumption- new textures, new flavour profiles, and a product line that carries both culinary creativity and a clear sense of place.

We love the tenacity of these five amazing women, who have grown this wonderful business around the traditional almond are are producing some of the tasiest snacks we have tried. The freshness and flavour of the toasted almonds are simply moorish. Our favourite- toasted almonds with paprika.
