Casa Prencipe

There are places in Italy that haven't forgotten what food is for. Monte Sant'Angelo is one of them.
Casa Prencipe was founded here, in the heart of the Gargano National Park in southern Italy- at the foot of the Foresta Umbra, one of Italy's most ancient forests and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The people behind Casa Prencipe, Domenico and Giovanna, believe that food should be born from respect- for the land, for the farmers who tend it, for the raw materials, for the body, and for the time that nature requires. That belief runs through everything they do.
Their supply chain is short and controlled by design. Part of the wheat they use is grown on their own land. The rest comes from small local farms who share the same values, the same attention to quality, and the same unhurried relationship with their territory. Nothing travels far. Nothing is anonymous. Every ingredient has a provenance and every decision has a reason.
The pasta is made slowly. Organic Italian durum wheat, bronze dies, low-temperature drying for up to 24 hours. No additives, no shortcuts, no compromises. Every shape is built around what they call "Pasta in Elevata Purezza"- pasta in elevated purity- made with selected ingredients, clean recipes and deep attention to digestibility, texture and natural flavour. The surface is rough enough to hold a sauce properly. The wheat aroma is immediate and unmistakable. The cooking resistance is exceptional. These are the result of patience, consistency and genuine craft passed down through the memory of family tables and the quiet strength of work made by hand.
When you open a pack of Casa Prencipe pasta, the intention is that you feel authenticity. You feel a connection with a slower, more natural and more respectful way of living.
In 2022 and again in 2024 they were named Italy's Best Organic Pasta Producer- recognition that confirmed what anyone who has cooked with their pasta already knows.
What we love about Casa Prencipe
We love the passion of the owners Domenico and Giovanna. Their vision and proactivity to be as sustainable as possible is as strong as their mission to make the best pasta in the world. Our humble opinion- they are already there.
